A wedding of considerable interest to all Rossville people was that of Miss Ethel Reid and Mr. William Kerr, of Denver, Colo., which occurred at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Reid, one mile east of Rossville, Wednesday afternoon, April 21, at 2 o'clock.

The wedding was performed in the presence of relatives of the two young people and a few immediate friends of the two families. The ring ceremony was used performed by the Rev. H.L. Nelson, of Topeka. The house was beautifully decorated with ferns and spring flowers. In the east window of the living room where the bridal couple stood was a bower of flowers. The bride's gown was of ivory pussy willow taffeta with cord shirrings. The drapery over the waist and sleeves was made of oriental lace. With it was worn white satin pumps with chiffon bows. The bride wore a corsage bouquet of pink sweet peas and lilies of the valley. Immediately after the ceremony while the bridal couple were receiving the congratulations of the relatives and friends Miss Mabel Howerton played Mendelssohn's spring song of waltz caprice.

After the guests have given the young people their wishes for a long and happy wedded life all repaired to the dining room where light refreshments were served.

Mr. and Mrs. Kerr left immediately after the ceremony for St. Marys where they caught the evening flier for Denver.
