    Mrs. Agnes Owens

Agnes Mae Owens, aged 22, died last Thursday, July 22, in a Council Grove hospital from blood poisoning. Her illness dated only from Tuesday of last week.

Mrs. Owens was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.B. Nadeau of Rossville. She was born November 12, 1898. She was united in marriage with Frank Owen, June 28, 1918 and they have made this city their home since, residing in the Howerton cottage on Orange street. About two weeks Mrs. Owens went to Council Grove where Mr. Owen is employed at present.

The body was brought to Rossville Friday evening and taken to their home. After a service in the Catholic church, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the body was taken to St. Marys for burial.
