Lois LaVon McCoy daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. McCoy, and Thomas P. Lacock, son of Mrs. William Lacock and the late Mr. Lacock, were married at 3:00 p.m. April 7th in the Rossville Methodist Church. The Rev. Don Jones officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Nuptial music was furnished by Mrs. Joe Campbell, organist. She also accompanied Carol Adams, soloist, who sang The Wedding Prayer.
For her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown of Chantilly lace. The bodice featured a scalloped sabrina neckline and front trim of seed pearls and sequins. Rosettes accented the back waistline. Her finger-tip length vail edged with lace fall from a crown of pleated nylon trimmed with seed pearls and sequins. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses.
Attending the bride were her sister, Mrs. Albert J. Seitz, St. Marys, and her cousin, Miss Barbara Jean Spears, Topeka. They wore identical street - length dresses of pink chiffon covered with white nylon lace. The bodices featured draped midriffs trimmed with roses. The bride’s attendants carried colonial bouquets of pink carnations and Easter lilies.
Sharon Irene Seitz, St. Marys, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a pink nylon dress with white lace trim. The ring bearer was Bobby Finny, of Topeka.
James Lacock, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man; and another brother, Clinton Lacock, was groomsman.
Miss Janet Hause, Rossville, was in charge of the guest book.
Ushers were J. W. Adams, Rossville, and James Henderson, Topeka.
A reception was held following the wedding at the Rossville Community Center. Those assisting were Mrs. Arch Cowger, Soldier, Mrs. Clinton Lacock, Topeka, Lois Jones, Topeka, Carolyn Stratton, Louisville, Mrs. Scott Kelsey, Charlene Perry, Marie Stiles, and Sharon Viergever, all of Rossville.
Both the bride and groom are graduates of Rossville High School. The bride attended Clark’s. School of Business and is now employed by the Kansas State Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lacock attended Washburn University and is now employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
After a honeymoon in Texas, the couple will live in Topeka at 1610 Lincoln.

Miss Lois McCoy whose marriage to Mr. Tom Lacock took place Sunday, April 7, was honored with a bridal shower given by Mrs. Scott Kelsey on March 31.

Carol Adams, Charlene Perry, Marie Stiles and Sharon Viergever were hosts to a miscellaneous Shower in honor of Lois McCoy, Sunday March 24. at the home of Carol Adams. Invited guests were Helen Stadler, Patty Gilbert, Joan Dolezilek, Janet Hause, Jean Stiles, Barbara Spears, Judy Fauerbach, Judee Keske, Linda Seitz, Sue Viergever, Mrs. Stella Lacock, Mrs. Lucille Adams, and Mrs. Robt McCoy.
