| Obituary- Barker, Thomas THOMAS HENRY BARKER
Thomas Henry Barker, son of the late Henry and Sarah Barker, was born January 6, 1864, at Grassy Creek Kentucky, and departed this life Tues¬day evening, August 2, at 6:30 o'clock at his home in Rossville.
He was married to Bessie Cottle, October 8, 1911, and to this union five children were born: Mabel Som¬mers of Edwardsville; Ina and Gladys of Denver, Colo, and Dudley of the home address. One infant preceded him in death. The above and four grandchildren survive.
Tom as he was known to his friends and neighbors, was a devout Christ¬ian, a true follower of Christ since early manhood. He was a kind neigh¬bor and loving companion and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him He was the last survivor of six children, leaving several nieces, nephews and host of friends to mourn his passing.
Pallbearers were: Marvin Stoner,
Perry Stumbaugh, Ray Kilburn, Bill Hill, Ed Kovar, and Johnnie Lillard.

THOMAS HENRY BARKER
Thomas Henry Barker, 75, was born in Grassy Creek, Ky., in October 1874, and had lived in Rossville for the past 40 years. He was a member of the Rossville Christian church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Bessie Barker; one son, Dudley J. Barker Rossville; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Sommers of Edwardsville, Miss Ina Lee Barker and Miss Gladys Barker of Denver; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Fri¬day at 2 o’clock at the Christian church in charge of Orel Newbrey, of Downs, former pastor of the Rossville church.
Music will be furnished by Maxine Trimble, Lorene Harth, with Peggy Navarre accompanist.
Burial will be in Rossville cemetery.
