    George David Beal was born in Rossville, Sept , 20, 1869 and died at his home near Stapleton, Nebraska Nov. 29, 1918 at the age of 49 years, 2 months and 9 days. His boyhood days were spent on home farm near Rossville. About eight years ago he purchasŽed a farm in Nebraska and was living there when death claimed him. He was kind hearted and generous to all and made friends readily. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Anna S. Cox, Reading, KanŽsas, two brothers, John of Weiser Idaho, and Frank of Solomon, Kansas and other relatives beŽsides a host of friends to mourn his loss.
    The out of town relatives who attended the funeral were: Frank Beal of Solomon, Kan., Mrs. Chrissie Beal, Harrah, Okla. Mansel Cox, Wilson, Kan., Chrissie Cox, Reading, Kan., Nellie Turner, Topeka, Mary Rankin, Topeka, Floyd and Willie Rankin, Topeka, Hattie Miller, Topeka, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Brooks, Maple Hill, and Henry Zickefoose, Stapleton, Nebr.
