Mr. and Mrs. Francis P. Stockman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home in St. Marys Sunday. They were married February 12, 1923, at St. Patricks Church, Parsons, Ks. Mrs. Stockman is the former Martha C. Boelens, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Boelens. The lovely cake was made by Mrs. Henry Stockman. A buffet dinner was served to family and friends. Family of the couple attending were: Mrs. Pat Banks. Wamego: Mrs. Betty Hazzard, Ozawkie; Leo Stockman and family. Emmett: Joe Stockman, Tom Stockman and Phillip Stockman, all of Topeka; Henyr Stockman. St. Marys; Don Stockman and family. Rossville Bob Stockman and family, Maple Hill; Frances Carlson and family, Slayton. Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Stockman, Lenexa; and Mrs. Mary Hinman, Wichita. Ted Stockman, Bakersfield. | Obituary- Stockman, John John Henry "Hank" Stockman
John Henry "Hank" Stockman, 78, of Emmett passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at the St. Marys Community Hospital.
He was born on February 12, 1942, in the Sandy Hook community near St. Marys, the son of F.P. and Martha (Boelens) Stockman.
Hank was a welder and owned and operated Stockman Repair in Emmett.
He was married to Sally Heskett, and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ted, Joe, Tom, Pat, Don, Robert, and Herald.
Hank married Dolores Steve in St. Marys, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include a brother, Phil Stockman, Topeka; two sisters, Betty Hazard, Ozawkie and Frances Carlson, MN; sister-in-law, Marilene Stockman, Rossville; many nieces and nephews; step-sons, Shawn (Jami) Hladky, Emmett their children, Caleb, Faith, Cassi and Toby, and Chris (Susan) Mapes, El Paso, TX; and Abby.
Graveside inurnment will be at a later date. |
