    A marriage license was granted to George Hahn, of Rossville and Miss Fannie S.C. Lloyd, of Willard, by the Probate Judge at Topeka yesterday. Mrs. Hahn is known to a number of Rossville people, having worked for a time at the Joe Hopkins home.

    Fannie Hahn
    Mrs. Fannie Hahn, wife of George Hahn, of Holton, passed away Wednesday, following a lingering illness. She had been taken to a Topeka hospital on Tuesday and passed away the following day.

    She had lived in Holton the last 15 years, prior to which time she was a resident of Rossville. She also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Grannell of Great Bend and Mrs. Viola Barker of Wamego. Other survivors are her brothers, Cecil, Bob and James Lloyd, a sister, Mrs. Hazel Olson of the Willard and Dover communities.

    Services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, with burial in Holton cemetery.


    The following folk from the West Union neighborhood attended the funeral service of Mrs. George Hahn at Holton last Friday: Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rogers, Mrs. Bert Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. John Rogers, of Willard; Mrs. Frank Miller, Mr. and Mrs. L.T. Fitzgerald, Mr. James E. Fitzgerald, all old neighbors and friends of the deceased lady.


    Mr. and Mrs. Auty Trimble, Mable Boyles, Mrs. S. O. Parr and Mrs. H. Syring drove to Holton last Friday to attend the funeral of Mrs. George Hahn.
