Ephriam [sic] Fritz Former Dixonite, is Dead at Olney

The remains of Ephriam Fritz, former resident of Dixon, who passed away February 23, at his home at Olney, Ill., will arrive in Dixon this evening and will be taken to the Staples-Moyer mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted from the Staples-Moyer chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock; Rev. Lloyd W. Walter officiating and with interment in Oakwood.

Mr. Fritz left Dixon several years ago and of late years has made his home at Olney. His wife preceded him in death about 18 years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. E.C. Girton of Brookings, S.D., and two sons, harry of Mobridge, S.D. and Walter of Waukegan. The obituary will be published later.

The above was received Monday evening by Mrs. Dave Kesler from a Dixon, Ill., newspaper and was the first news she had of the death of her brother, Eph Fritz. His death occurred at 8 o'clock February 29th, just two hours later than the death of another brother, Mr. Frank Fritz and St. Francis hospital Topeka. The deceased gentleman had been ailing for some time and his death was not unexpected to his immediate relatives but was a shock to the sister, Mrs. Kesler.
