The marriage of Kelly Lea Beamand and H. Gede Frost was solemnized at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Christian Church, Holton. The Rev. Don Jennings, the Rev. Carolyn Jennings and Dale Horn officiated.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William Beamand. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hall, Delia.
Attending the bride were April Beamand, Susan Horn, Rosalie Seever and Lori Wagner, Topeka; Connie Richter, Circleville; and Gena Smith, Whiting. Attending the bridegroom were Brian Voigt, Bruce Voigt, Danny Reiman and Lu Griffiths, Topeka; Birk Griffiths, Delia; and Danny Guyle, Rossville.
Mrs. Frost is a graduate of Holton High School and Washburn University. She is self-employed through Branum Baldwin Piano and Organ as a keyboard instructor. Mr. Frost is a graduate of Rossville High School and is employed by Josten's Printing and Publishing Company.

H. Gede Frost, 59, of Topeka, passed away on August 7, 2023 at Stormont Vail in Topeka.
He was born on August 12, 1963 to Charles and Judy (Griffiths) Frost in Holton, Kansas and was raised by his grandparents, William H. and Lucille I. Griffiths. He graduated from Rossville High School (Go Dawgs!) and worked at Josten's in Topeka for over 29 years as a printing press operator.
Gede was an avid lifetime softball player, bowler and Kansas City Chiefs fanatic. In his younger years he enjoyed coaching his son, Michael in little league and attending his daughters sporting events. He also loved to attend estate sales in his spare time. Gede was a family man and loved to be surrounded by his friends, indulging in an adult beverage or two.
Gede is survived by his children, Morgan (James) Frost McCarter, Michael (Laura) Frost, and Holly Frost; siblings, William (Jackie) Griffiths, Danny (Janice) L. Griffiths, Dona Hartzell, Dana Gunn, Danny (Sabrina) J. Hall, Lori Hall, Karen Frost, Randy Frost, Dennis (Morgan) Frost, and Robert Frost; sister in law, Teri Griffiths; Trevonn and Pamela Hall who he thought of as his own; grandchildren, Kai Frost, Karleigh Frost, Kyndahl Frost, and Noah Eads; and his dear friend, Tena Goehring.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Lu Griffiths; grandson, Reiker Hall; grandparents, William H. Griffiths, and Lucille I. Griffiths; and his niece and nephew, Tamara & Tony Vardys.
Visitation where family will greet friends will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Parker-Price Funeral Home. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm
Inurnment will take place at Valencia Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made out to Shawnee County Parks and Recreation, the Kidney Foundation, or to Helping Hands Humane Society in Gede's name. |
