Rev. and Mrs. Frank Dyer Jackson announce the marriage of their daughter, Bertha Little, to Mr. Theron Alfred Redmon, on Wednesday, December 23, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard L. Jackson in Topeka. Mr. and Mrs. Redmon will make their home at 2423 East 9th St., Kansas City, Mo., until the first of June. Mr. Redmon is a former Delia boy until he finished his work in the Delia high school. |

| Obituary- Redmon, Theron Theron Redmon
OLATHE – Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at W.L. Frye and Son Funeral Home here for Theron Alfred Redmon, 67, Olathe, who died here Thursday in a hospital where he was readmitted May 19. He had a heart ailment.
Mr. Redmon had been employed the past two years as a funeral director at W.L. Frye and Son Funeral Home at Olathe.
He was born Feb. 16, 1902, in the Adrian community about five miles north of Delia in Jackson County. He attended the University of Kansas and Williams School of Mortuary Science at Kansas City, Kan. He had lived in the Kansas City area since 1923.
He was employed at Forester Funeral Home at Kansas City, Mo., many years until 1952 and later was manager of Green Lawn Cemetery at Kansas City, Mo. He was manager of Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens at Olathe from 1965 to 1967.
He was a member of the Community Christian Church at Hickman Mills, Mo., and was a member of the Kansas Funeral Directors Assn., and the Missouri Funeral Directors Assn. He was a member of Orient Lodge, AF&AM, Scottish Rite bodies, and Ararat Shrine, all at Kansas City, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha J. Redmon, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Martha R. newby, Scottsdale, Ariz; a sister, Mrs. Anna Peterson, Capron, Ill.; and a grandson.
Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery at Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Redmon will lie in state from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Olathe.
