    Daugherty
    Services were at 1 p.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home for Lucien Daugherty, 75, Holton. He died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1993, at a Holton hospital.

    Mr. Daugherty was a dairy worker in Denver until he retired. He received a Bronze Star as a technical sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II where he fought in battles in the European and African theaters.

    He was born Nov. 22, 1918, in Mayetta, the son of Oran and Lucy Wichewah Daugherty. He was graduated from high school in Oklahoma. He moved from Denver to Mayetta after he retired and lived there for six years before he moved to Holton four years ago.

    Mr. Daugherty was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe.

    Survivors include a sister, Orena Baker, Albuquerque, N.M.; and a brother, Milton Daugherty, Mayetta.

    Mr. Daugherty was cremated following services. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holton Cemetery Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
