Mr. Harry Chilson of Topeka, and Miss Gladys Van Vleck of Rossville, were married Saturday in Topeka by the probate judge.
Mrs. Chilson is the only daughter of Mrs. Bessie Van Vleck, and for the past year and a half had been a student in Rossville high school. Mr. Chilson is the eldest son of Mr. Will Chilson of Mayetta, Kansas.
Mr. and Mrs. Chilson will make their home for the present on a farm near Mayetta owned by Mr. Jones. |

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Chilson of Yakima, Washington, announce the marriage of their eldest daughter, Katherine Rose, to Mr. Earl Bourassa, son of Mr. Roy Bourassa of Detroit, Mich. and Mrs. Irene Beamen, Yakima, Washington, whose marriage took place Monday night, May 29, 1950, at 8:30 p. m in Kansas City, Mo.
The bride chose for her wedding an aqua blue dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. She chose for her attendant Mrs. Harry Mayfield, aunt of the groom who was attired in a brown dress, brown accessories, and corsage of yellow roses.
The groom was attired in a gray suit and his best man was his uncle Mr. Harry Mayfield, who wore a gray suit and both had white carnations boutonnieres.
Officiating with the single ring ceremony was Rev. Ropes of Kansas City, Mo.
After the wedding there was a reception. A large wedding cake was lovely for the center piece on the long serving table.
The bride and groom received many beautiful gifts.
The bride is a granddaughter of Mrs. R.H. Perry of Rossville.

Perry, Rossville; Mrs. Harry Chilson, Yakima, Wash. The newly weds left immediately for Detroit on their honeymoon and will reside in Detroit.
