    MARVIN E. IMMENSCHUH


    Marvin E. Immenschuh, 88, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Oakley Place of Rossville.

    He was born March 1, 1929 in Rural Shawnee County Kansas, the son of Philip and Dora Simecka Immenschuh. Marvin graduated from Silver Lake High School. He served in Germany during the Korean War as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army.

    Marvin farmed in Shawnee County and then near Delia for many years. He moved to Rossville when he retired.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert and a sister, Linda Smithers.

    Survivors include his sister, Helen (Chuck) Droegemeier, Rossville and many nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 20,2017 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Rossville Cemetery.

    Mr. Immenschuh will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Tuesday December 19, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 2231 SW Wannamaker, Suite 202, Topeka, Kansas 66614.
