The flower girl was Brinley Pottorf, niece of the bride. Steve Thomas served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Jerry Thomas, Mike Thomas and Billy Thomas, all brothers of the groom. Jeffrey Kleinsmith, nephew of the groom, served as honorary groomsman. The ring bearer was Jack Donovan, nephew of the bride. Clare and Patty Thomas, sisters of the groom were guest book attendants. The ushers were Joe Thomas, brother of the groom, Garrett Donovan, brother of the bride, and Jason Pottorf, brother-in-law of the bride. Joan is a kindergarten teacher at Kennedy Academy in Topeka. James is a commercial estimator for McElroy, Inc., in Topeka. The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and now make their home in Rossville.
