    Gerald “Gerry” D. Binney
    Gerald “Gerry” D. Binney, 89, passed away, Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Midland Hospice.
    Gerry was born May 11, 1920 in Rossville, KS the son of Orbie and Emma “Gladys” Binney. Gerry was a veteran of WW11 USN.
    He resided in Rossville, KS until his family moved to Port Hueneme, CA where he completed his education. He married Dorothy A. Kirkpatrick on January' 1, 1972. She preceded him in death. Gerry retired from Standard Oil of California after 32 years. He enjoyed mowing and his family.
    He is survived by his sons, Terry and Nancy Binney of Man¬hattan; Chris Kirkpatrick of Elsnore, UT; Gerry and Vicki Binney of Topeka; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and - one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mercedies Conway Binney and daughter, Sue Dulany.
    Graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Rossville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606. Online condolences may be sent to www.kevinbrennanfamily.com.
