  Obituary- Bixby, William William Bixby Dies at age 88 William Henry Bixby, 88, a retired farmer who lived, most of’ his life in Rossville, died last Wednesday in a Topeka nursing home. He was born June 26, 1875, in Grantville, the son of Charles and Evangeline Bixby. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Emma L. Rouse, of the home in Rossville, and a brother, Charles, of Rossville. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Rossville. Interment was in Rossville Cemetery. Rev. Don Sears of Rossville officiated. Pallbearers were Ted Marney, Delbert Olson, Edward Paine, Ed Kovar, Walter Startup and John Bush. Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, was in charge of the services.
