| Anniversary- Bixby, Charles and Hattie 2 Married 64 Years
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bixby of Rossville will be honored with a dinner Sunday, February 14, at Silver Lake Cafe on their 64th wedding anniversary, given by their children. They will hold open house hours from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Silver Lake Cafe. Friends and relatives are invited to call. Mr. and Mrs. Bixby were married in St. Marys. They have lived in Rossville all their lives except for three years at Silver Lake. They are the parents of ten children, five boys and five girls. |

Charles A Bixby, 89, Rossville, died Friday in a Topeka hospital.
He was born Mach 10, 1881, in Rossville and had lived his entire life in the Rossville com¬munity.
He was a retired blacksmith and farmer.
His wife, Mrs. Hattie Bixby, died Feb. 18, 1968.
Survivors include four sons, Vernon H. Bixby, 2701 Kentucky; Ray J. Bixby, Route 6, Topeka; Robert Bixby, 744 Kellam, and Don Bixby, Rossville; five daughters, Mrs. Virginia White, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Mabel Patton, 928 N. Michigan; Mrs. Rose Jones, Silver Lake; Mrs. Edna Taylor, Meriden, and Mrs. Grace James, 114 Burgess; a sister, Mrs. Emma Rouse, Rossville; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-¬grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Davidson-Duff Mortuary. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
Bixby, Charles A. (TOT.)—Age 89, Rossville, Ks. Passed away August 14, 1970. Services 2 p.m. Tuesday Davidson-Duff Chapel. Interment Rossville Cemetery.
