Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Krasny, Rossville; Mr. and Mrs. William Martinek, and Mr. and Mrs. J.W. George, Silver Lake. The bride wore a long white gown which he had designed and made. Her silk bouquet of red and yellow roses with white carnations added the finishing touch. The groom was dressed in a long-tailed white tuxedo. The bride's maid of honor was her sister, Miss Nancy Martin, Silver Lake. Two other sisters, Mrs. Terry Hay, Overland Park, and Mrs. Joe Pistora, Linwood, and a friend, Mrs. Mike Perry, Topeka, were bridesmatrons. The groom's brother, Kenneth Martinek, Golden, Colo., served as best man. Mr. Terry Hay, Overland Park; Mr. Mark Elliott, Silver Lake; and Mr. Mike Perry, Topeka, were groomsmen. Mrs. Martinek is a senior nursing student at Washburn University and is employed with Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center. Mr. Martinek is a senior at Washburn University, majoring in criminal justice. He is serving his internship this summer.
