The marriage of Joyce Gail Milliken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Milliken, to Donald Dean Kesler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kesler, was solemnized at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in Aldersgate Chapel of the First Methodist Church.
The Rev. Glen Thompson officiated at the double ring ceremony, and music was provided by Mrs. Don Burton, organist, and Mrs. Robert Badsky, soloist.
The bride wore a white wool suit. The round collar was piped in satin, and the front of the straight-lined jacket was closed with tailored satin bows. Her hat and accessories were light blue and she wore a corsage of white carnations and blue hyacinths.
Sharon Milliken was her sister's only attendant. She wore a light blue wool suit and light blue hat. Her corsage was of white carnations.
Best man was Orville Kesler, brother of the bridegroom, and ushers were Robert Griggs and Jared Nenstiel.
A reception at the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony. Those assisting were Mrs. Lovan Bacon, Mrs. Dennis Kathe, Sandra Rabe and Cynthia Priddy.
The bride, a graduate of Topeka High School, is employed by Kansas Power and Light Co. Mr. Kesler attended Seaman High School and is employed by Meadow Lanes Bowling Palace.
After a wedding trip to Buffalo and Niagara Falls, N.Y., the couple is at home at 2223 N. Polk, Topeka.
