    HAROLD DEE BIXBY
    Harold Dee Bixby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bixby was born Jan. 18, 1907 at Rossville, and passed away at Woodland, Calif., Saturday, Aug. 3, following an illness since last May suffering from cerebral hemorrhages. His sisters Mrs. Dolly Sanderson of Topeka and Mrs. Juanita Stevenson of Memphis, Tenn., were called to Woodland, because of his serious ill¬ness, which resulted finally in his death.
    Dee attended school at Rossville and made his home in and near hero until twelve years ago, when he went to California, and has been employed with the Southern Pacific Railroad Co., in the Signal Corp.
    He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bixby, two brothers, Howard Bixby of Wetmore, Kans., Oscar Bixby of Rossville, and seven sisters, Mrs. J. R. Freel, Mrs. H. E. Sanderson, Melba Bixby and Mary Bixby all of Topeka; Doris Bixby and Mrs. J. E. Macha of Rossville and Mrs. C. P. Stevenson of Memphis, Tenn.
    Services were held at the Rossville Christian church at 2 P. m. this Thurs¬day, conducted by Rev. James B. Carr of the Manhattan Bible College.
    Music was furnished by Mrs. Ruth Hesse and Mrs. Mildred Berry with Miss Edith Higginbotham accom¬panying at the piano.
    Burial was in the Rossville City cemetery.
