LeMay, Council Grove, during a ceremony Saturday, June 12, 1982, at the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Marys. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Immenschuh, Rossville, and Mrs. Lupe Vega, Topeka. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Robert Sieh, pastor of the Rossville Christian Church, and Father John Erickson, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church. Two seven-branch candelabras with yellow and white carnations and ivy decorated the altar. Mrs. Janet Dodge, organist, provided the music preceding the ceremony and accompanied Dallas and Lisa Satterfield, Topeka, while they sang, "You Light Up My Life," "Evergreen," "Endless Love," and "You Needed Me." The bride, escorted down the aisle by her father, wore a gown of white organza, Chantilly and Venice lace. The bodice featured a stand-up collar with a V-yoke of English net, trimmed with Venice lace and finished with a ruffle of Chantilly lace. The full bishop sleeves of organza were trimmed in Venice lace with a fitted elbow-length cuff, trimmed in a ruffle of Chantilly lace. The lovely bouffant skirt fell from the waistline in rows of Chantilly lace and finished with a chapel-length train. Her veil was a matching waltz-length of English net on a milkmaid cap, trimmed in Venice lace. She carried a cascade of yellow silk roses, stephanotis and wheat. Marcia Lundin, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Marlene Hanna, Silver Lake, was bridesmatron. Their dresses were of mint green and maize yellow polyester and polyester lace. The bodices featured a stand-up collar, lace yoke and a natural waistline with a tie at the waist. The long bishop sleeves were of lace. They wore headpieces, designed by the bride, of wheat woven into bows with yellow silk roses and yellow satin ribbons attached. They carried woven wicker fans with yellow silk roses, dogwood and dogwood blossoms on yellow satin streamers. Stephanie Thomas and Christopher Thomas, Council Grove, cousins of the groom, were candlelighters. Stephanie wore a light blue floor-length gown of polyester and polyester lace with a stand-up collar, lace yoke, and gathered caping under the yoke which fell to a natural waistline and tied at the waist. Christopher wore a gray Barclay tuxedo with a gray ruffled shirt, black velvet vest and bow tie. Sandra Smithers, Topeka, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. She wore a romance blue floor-length gown of polyester, and polyester Venice lace. The bodice featured a stand-up collard in heart-shaped lace; the natural waistline had a tie at the waist. The sleeves were long, with cuffs of lace. She carried a natural wicker basket with yellow ribbons and yellow rose petals. Brandon Lundin, nephew of the bride, and Steven Smithers, cousin of the bride, were the ring bearers. They carried the rings on lacy satin pillows. Their three-piece gray Barclay tuxedos had black velvet vests and bow ties and matched those of the groomsmen. They wore yellow silk rosebud boutonnieres. The groom wore a three-piece gray Barclay tuxedo with a white wing collar shirt, gray and white striped ascot tie, and black velvet vest. He wore a yellow silk rose and baby's breath boutonniere. Bret LeMay, Council Grove, brother of the groom, was best man. Greg Gieswein, Wilsey, also attended the groom. They wore gray Barclay tuxedos with gray ruffled shirts, black velvet vests and bow ties. They wore yellow silk rose boutonnieres. Ushers were Russell Immenschuh, brother of the bride, and Pat Brannon, Council Grove. They were tuxedos identical to those of the groomsmen and yellow silk rose boutonnieres.   		Marriage- Immenschuh, Robert-LeMay, Louie 2 Brenda Myers, friend of the bride, was in charge of the guest book. Barbie Myers, friend of the bride, was in charge of the programs and wheat bags. The mother of the bride chose a mint green floor-length gown. The mother of the groom wore an aqua-colored gown of polyester. Their corsages were yellow silk roses. A reception followed the ceremony in the Centennial Building. The reception table featured a three-tier wedding cake with a crystal cake top of lovebirds and bells. The cake rested upon pillars and underneath was a three-tier fountain. Four smaller cakes surrounded the base of the fountain which was accented with ivy. Green punch, nuts and mints of yellow roses, green leaves and white and blue bells were served. Those assisting at the reception table were Mrs. Vivian Williams and Mrs. Glenda Backerman, Topeka; and Mrs. Jann Gillip, Leavenworth. The gifts were opened by sisters-in- law of the groom, Mrs. Terri LeMay, Council Grove, and Mrs. Eileen Vega, Topeka. A buffet dinner for the wedding party and their guests and out-of-town guests was hosted by the groom’s parents at the Rossville American Legion Hall after the reception. A wedding dance was held at the Rossville American Legion Hall. Cactus Junction, Topeka, provided the music. After a honeymoon to the Ozarks and Estes Park, Colo., the couple is at home at Route 1, Rossville.
