| Obituary- Muller, Francis 1 Francis Muller
DELIA — Francis L. “Frank” Muller, 71, Delia, died Friday, Jan. 17,2003, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Muller owned and operated Muller Electric Co. in St. Marys for many years. He also was an electrical superintendent at the Jeffrey’s Energy Center for many years and had worked for Linder Electric.
He was born June 7,1931, in St. Marys, to Frank J. and Mary K. Bennett Muller. He graduated from St. Marys High School in 1949.
Mr. Muller was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys, an associate member of Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion in Rossville, where he was active in building maintenance and electrical projects. He also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local No. 226 in Topeka.
He married Mary Ann Cordte Bietry on June 26,1954, in St. Marys. She died on Nov. 20, 1981. He married Gladys Duncan on Jan. 18, 1987, in Rossville. She survives.
Other survivors include three daughters,
Mona Seele, Houston, Joyce Lampley, Enville, Tenn., and Cindy Depew, Buford, Ga.; two step¬daughters, Peggy Steelman, Austin, Texas, and Leslie Allen, Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Frank S. Muller, Denison, and Bill Muller, Carbondale; a sister, Veronica “Bonnie” Brunin, St. Marys; a brother, Joseph T. Muller, St. Marys; 21 grand¬children; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Muller also was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Mullen, on Oct. 10,1954, and a son, Mark Allan Muller, on May 16,1982.
Mr. Muller was cremated. A memorial mass will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Inurnment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion Auxiliary in Rossville and sent in care of Piper- Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys.
