Ross-Brunin vows exchanged on Aug. 6 at church here

The marriage of Nancy Christina Ross to Mr. Edward Joseph Brunin was solemnized at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 6, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark McKinsie, S.J., officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Dora Ross, Delia, and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brunin, St. Marys.

The bride wore a floor-length empire gown of organza over bridal satin, fashioned with a high neckline and long sleeves with cuffs trimmed in lace. The bodice and skirt were finished with many rows of lace, accented by pink satin bows at the hemline, and from under pink bows at the bodice, the train with matching lace extended to full chapel length. A Camelot cap of beaded lace held her veil. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses and pink and white daisies.

Attending the bride were Catherine Gresser, maid of honor, Rossville; Christine Dugan, Delia; and Nancy Heim, St. Marys.

John Ronnau, St. Marys, was best man, and groomsmen were Fred Pace, and David Brunin, brother of the bridegroom, both of St. Marys. Guests were seated by Danny Holcomb of Delia, and Phil Pettay, St. Marys.

A reception in the Centennial Building followed the ceremony.

The bride was graduated from Rossville High School and attended Kansas State University. She is employed by Frenn’s. Fabric in Holiday Square, Topeka. Mr. Brunin was graduated from St. Marys High School and is employed by Roach Hardware, Topeka.

After a honeymoon in Colorado, the couple is living at the Colonial Park Apartments, Topeka.
