    LEWIS DAVIDSON, eldest child of William Davidson Jr and wife Hannah (--) Davidson. Born 1712, Maryland died Nov. 16, 1793, Fayette County, Pa. The following transfers of land were made to and from Lewis Davidson:
    In 1731 with his mother and sisters located in Sussex County, Del.
    In 1753, with his sisters Mary, Sarah and her husband John Arderly, sold to Jacob Warrington the 179 acres which their mother Hannah had surveyed, in 1731.
    In 1754 Lewis sold farm to Comfort Houston, Sussex County, Del.
    On 12th March, 1755 Lewis bought a farm of Yeates Conwell. Elizabeth Titus, Ectrx. (Deed Book No. 9.)
    Between Lewis Davidson of Bedford County province of Pennsylvania (yoeman) and Isaac Draper (Cooper) County of Sussex on Delaware now in the possession of Boaz Manlove, seven acres house and orchard where said Lewis Davidson formerly dwelt, bought by Lewis Davidson absolute title of Jacob Stafford and Roseanns, his wife after the decease of Jacob Stafford 9th Feb., 1758. (Book L-No. 11).
    Lewis, had deeded to him, June 29, 1767 a tract of land situated on the east side of Monongahala River, in what is now Fayette County, Pa. The deed recorded at Greensburg Court House, Pa.
    Lewis Davidson ran the first ferry at Redstone (now Brownville) Fayette County, Pa.
