They were married April 29, 1936, in Jackson County. They are the parents of four children: Russell and his wife, Louise, of Sabetha, Bud and his wife, Shirley, of Mayetta, Sharon Goldsworthy and her husband, Jim, of Memphis, Tenn., and Brad and his wife, Jeanette, of Topeka. Together with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they will celebrate with a family dinner on April 22.
