    L. McKinley Bottom
    Leanneaus McKinley Bottom, 84, Sil¬ver Lake, formerly of 715 Forest, died Tuesday at a Topeka hospital.
    He was born Nov. 3, 1896, at Havens¬ville, the son of Samuel and Lizzie Wells Bottom.
    Mr. Bottom was a farmer in the Ha¬vensville community until 1944 when he moved to Topeka to work at the Topeka Supply Depot. He retired in 1959 and moved to Silver Lake in 1978.
    He was a member of Buck’s Grove United Methodist Church west of Holton.
    He was married to Verta A. McDa¬niel, Oct. 14, 1919, at Topeka. She died Oct. 28, 1977.
    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Adeline Hickman, 642 Forest; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Huddleston, Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Lester Bottom, Havensvlle, and Ulyess Bottom, 1816 Mor¬rison; three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
    Service arrangements are pending at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Buri¬al will be in Buck’s Grove United Church Cemetery west of Holton.
