    Miss Della Leeper and Mr. Fred Mason were married at the Presbyterian parsonage, Rossville, on Tuesday evening, March 7. Rev. John Lamb performed the ceremony. The wedding was a quiet affair with only a few of the intimate friends being present. The young couple will make their home on the Higginbotham farm north of town.

    Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mason celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, March 12, at the home of their daughter, Mrs. D. E. Bratton and Mr. Bratton in Topeka.

    The table was decorated with a beautiful cake shaped like a Bible. A bouquet of yellow and gold mums was sent to the couple by her sister, Miss Ada Leeper, of California.

    Dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mason, Mrs. Frances Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Howard French and Doug, Mr. and Mrs. Gary French, Kristie and Karl. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Enos and Sue, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bratton. Many lovely gifts and cards were received.

    Fred Mason
    ROSSVILLE - Services for Fred Mason, 79, a resident of Rossville all his life, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rossville Methodist Church with burial in the cemetery here. He died Sunday in a Topeka hospital.

    He was born May 27, 1884, in Rossville. He was a retired farmer and a former employee of the Supply Depot in Topeka.

    He was preceded in death by a son, Maynard, in 1944.

    Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Della Mason of the home; and a daughter, Mrs. Helen Bratton, 1941 Burnett Road.

    The Parker Mortuary of Topeka is in charge of arrangements.
