| Obituary- Dolezilek, Anthony Anthony Dolezilek
Anthony Dolezilek, 92, 1102 Republican, died Sunday at a Topeka nursing home where he had been the past year.
He was born Jan. 6, 1875 in Czechoslovakia and moved to Kansas with his parents in 1880. He lived between Rossville and Delia until 1930 when he moved to St. Marys. He had lived in Topeka three years.
He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Topeka and formerly was a longtime member of Immaculate at St. Marys. He was a retired farmer.
He was married to Albina Halda Jan. 8, 1900 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Purcell in Doniphan County.
Besides his wife, survivors include two sons, Phillip D. Dolezilek, Kansas City, Mo., and Stan Dolezilek, 1820 N. Taylor; two daughters, Mrs. Gabriel O’Donnell, 1119 N. Clay, and Mrs. Blanche Allen, 903 Green; 11 grandchildren and 35 greatgrandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at St. Marys. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys.
