    Sally Heslet
Sally Heslet, 76, Rossville went to be with the Lord on April 1,2017, due to complications from cancer, she was surrounded by her family. Sally was born July 31st, 1940 to Raymond Rice and Mary Kinsey in Kansas City, MO.

After moving to Kansas from Des Moines, IA, Sally worked food service and bartending for the Knights of Columbus in St. Marys, KS and the American Legion Post #31 in Rossville, KS. She was then employed by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas before running the Swirly Top restaurant in Rossville from 1993 to 2010. Sally was an avid reader and loved her stable of television shows. She was a loving and caring mother. Sally was best known for her role as a grandmother, commonly called Grammy by the entire family. She was a great listener and an even better talker. Sally will be missed greatly but her legacy will undoubtedly continue on through her impact on the community, friends, and family.
