    Myrtice Eloise Lumley
    Myrtice Eloise Lumley, age 96, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Rossville Health Care & Rehab. Eloise was born February 3, 1920 in Springdale, Kansas the daughter of Bert Edmonds and Agnus Hassett Edmonds. She grew up in Leavenworth County, graduating from Lansing High School. She married Harry Lumley April 9, 1939 in Topeka. He preceded her in death December 7,1989. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Wall; a son in law, C.J. Wall and nine siblings, Merlin, Francis, Verl, Eileen, Edgar Wayne, Eleanor, Jeanne, Thelma and Betty. She is survived by a son, Harry (Becky) Lumley of Cave Creek, AZ; two daughters, Linda Naugle and Alberta Huber, both of Topeka; a brother, David Edmonds of Winchester, KS; seven grandchildren, Scott Wall, Robert Wall, Leann Roberson, Dustin Lumley, Loren Laird III., Jeffrey Allison and Matthew Huber; 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Eloise loved her family very much. Eloise and Harry lived on NW Tyler street for 64 years, across from K-Mart and she enjoyed waving at everyone who passed by. She was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed all sports.

    Funeral services will be Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before the services on Friday, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. She will lie in state Thursday from noon - 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at davidsonfuneral.com.
