LECOMPTON — Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka for Shelia Carol-Dawn Manis, 28, Lecompton, who was killed Friday, Aug. 14, 1998, in a two-vehicle collision at 45th and Paulen Road southeast of Topeka.
She was born Oct. 11, 1969, in Topeka, to William Dean and Bonnie I. Guffey Adams. She was graduated from Topeka Highland Park High School.
She was married to Scott A. Manis Sept. 12, 1992, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Andrew D. Manis, at home; a daughter, Samantha K. Manis, at home; her mother, Bonnie I. Adams, Topeka; a brother, Tim E. Adams, Topeka; sisters, Tresa Weaver and Billie D. Adams, both in Topeka; and a grandmother, Irene Kolde, Topeka.
Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery in Rossville. Mrs. Manis will lie in state after noon today at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Samantha K. and Andrew D. Mams Educational Fund and sent in care of Dan and Debbie Manis, 2700 Cuvier, 66605.

She was born October 11,1969, in Topeka, the daughter of William Dean and Bonnie Guffey Adams. She was a 1989 graduate of Highland Park High School.
Survivors include her husband, Scott A. Manis; one daughter, Samantha Manis, at home; one son, Andrew Manis, at home; her mother, Bonnie Adams, Topeka; two sisters, Tresa Weaver and Billie Adams, both of Topeka; one brother, Tim Adams, Topeka; and her maternal grandmother, Irene Kolde, Topeka.
Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery.
