    Bobby “Bob” H. Millard
    Bobby “Bob” H. Millard, age 86, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Brewster Place Rehabilitation in Topeka.

    Bob was born July 2,1930 in Waldron, Arkansas, the son of Cheatle and Thelma Thomas Millard. He married Joy A. Meller July 2,1954 in Hanford, California. She preceded him in death July 3,2009 after 55 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber where he was the Chairman of safety and health. He retired in 1993 after 25 years. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union #307, the Goodyear Retirees Club, Shawnee Boat & Ski Club and the American Legion Post #400.

    He is survived by two sons, Tommy Steven (Vicky) Millard and Emmet Joe (Darca) Millard, both of Topeka; two daughters, Doris Jane (Steve) Thomas of Rossville and Terrie Lynn (Mark) Norris of Topeka; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. He will lie in state from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday with visitation from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Brewster Place and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com
