| Obituary- Adams, George George C. Adams
HOLTON — George C. Adams, 70, Circleville, died Monday, Oct. 15, 1990, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Adams was a heavy equipment operator for Jackson County 28 years.
He was born Oct. 30, 1919, in Delia, the son of Guy and Mabel Pasley Adams. He lived in Mayetta and Hol¬ton before he moved to Circleville in 1950. He was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Adams was a member of the Christian Church in Circleville.
He was married to Mary Alice Detimore July 14, 1945, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Gerald Adams, Belmont, N.Y., and Donald Adams, Lantana, Fla.; three daughters, Virginia Anderson, Tope¬ka, Kathyrn McCollum, Holton, and Georgia Larabee, Marysville; a brother, Harold Adams, Mitchell, Ind.; a sister, Anna Starkey, Topeka; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grand¬children.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednes¬day at Mercer Funeral Home in Hol¬ton. Burial will be in Havensville Cem¬etery in Havensville. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Circleville Christian Church and sent in care of Denison State Bank in Holton.
