  Obituary- Barrett, Betty Betty Lou Countryman Barrett, 76, Louisville, KY, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Regency Healthcare Center in Louisville. Berry was born August 16, 1927, the daughter of Dewey and Florence Higgins Countryman. She was a 1945 graduate of Rossville High School. She was a retired proof counselor for Bel Air Studios, Louisville. Betty was a member of the Summitt Heights United Methodist Church. She married Vernon Barrett. They were divorced. A son, Steven Barrett died in 1999. Survivors include two daughters, Jerrie Goodfleisch and Vicki Barrett, both of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Vena Mae Thompson, Delia, and Ruby Davis, Topeka; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her service was at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bosse Funeral Home, Louisville. Burial was in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery, Louisville. Family visitation was Friday at the funeral home.
