ROSSVILLE — Helen T. Macha, 92, Rossville, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at a Rossville care facility.
She was born Oct. 26, 1910, on a farm near Rossville, to Vince and Agnes SimeckaMartinek.
She was reared in the Rossville community and lived several years in Delia. She later lived in Manhattan and Council Grove before moving back to Rossville about 20 years ago.
Mrs. Macha was a member of the Catholic Church.
She married Richard Macha on Sept. 2, 1931. He died in 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Macha Jr., Chesterfield, Mo., and Benjamin Edward Macha, Ucon, Idaho; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Piper Funeral Chapel in Rossville. Burial will be in Czech-Moravan Cemetery north of Rossville. Mrs. Macha will lie in state from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Senior Center or the American Cancer Society, and sent in care of the funeral chapel, 419 Main, Rossville, 66533.

Helen T. Macha, 92, Rossville, died Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at Rossville Valley Manor.
She was born October 26, 1910, on a farm near Rossville, the daughter of Vince and Agnes Simecka Martinek. She lived in the Rossville community since the mid 1980s.
She grew up in the Rossville community. She had lived in Delia
for several years. She later lived in Manhattan and then in Council Grove until moving back to Rossville in the mid 1980s.
She was a member of the Catholic church.
On September 2, 1931, she married Richard Macha. He died in 1980.
