    Obituary- Bravence, Mary d. 1932
    Mrs. Mary Bravence, aged 68 years and 24 days died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday morning in Christ hospital. She was taken to the hospital Dec. 26 and underwent an operation Tuesday it was found necessary for another operation and she did not have the strength to rally from it.
    Mrs. Bravence made her home on her farm northeast of Rossville, known as the Bushor place and Geo. Olejinek farmed the place. She had been a resident of the community for 62 years coming here as a small girl from her birthplace in Posdechow, Moravia, Checho-Slovakia.
    Her husband, Joe Bravence passed on about fifteen years ago.
    Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Frances Stach, Kansas City, Ks., Mrs. Lizzie Lysek, Rossville; and Mrs. Mary Martinek, Topeka; three sons, Charles of Horton, Frank of Topeka and John of Stockton, Ks.; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Koci, Auburn, Ks.; one brother Frank Stach, Rossville. There are also 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held in the Check church (formerly U.B.) north of Rossville, Saturday, Jan 30, conducted by the Rev. Geo. Hoyer, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran church of Topeka.
    Until that time the body will lie in state in Conwells Mortuary in N. Topeka.
