    JOSEPH T. (JOE) FLERLAGE, JR.
    Joseph T. (Joe) Flerlage, Jr., 78, Hardy, AR; died August 22, 2017 in the comfort of his home after an extended illness. He was born April 22, 1939 in St. Louis, MO. to Joseph Flerlage, Sr. and Margaret Morgan. His family moved to St. Marys from Florrisant, when Joe was six years old. He attended Immaculate Conception Church and Elementary school. He graduated from St. Marys High School in 1958.

    He married Sally Sheppeard in 1959, they later divorced. This union was blessed with five sons: Joe, Dan, Matt, Dave and Mike.
    Joe served in the Kansas Army National Guard from 1957-1963. One of Joe’s greatest joys was his family.

    In 1990 he was married
    to Linda Reuscher. She survives of the home.

    Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Flerlage.

    Other survivors include his sons: Joseph (Diane) Flerlage, Alma; Daniel Flerlage, Belvue; Matthew (Cheryl) Flerlage, Topeka; David (Karissa) Flerlage, Knob Noster, MO; Michael Flerlage, St. Marys; Three brothers:Jack (Sue) Flerlage, James (Tippi) Flerlage and Larry Flerlage; Two sisters: Marge (Bernard) Fiedler and MaryAnn (Roy) Reser; Sister-In- Law: Carol Flerlage-Heim; Linda’s five children: Douglas, Denise, Stephen, Scott and David. (19) Grandchildren; (20) Great-Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

    Mass and Christian Burial was September 5, 2017 at Immaculate Conception at 10:00 AM. Family met with friends at a lunch at Centennial Hall (IC Church) following the burial.
