    Obituary- Murphy, Alfred
Alfred Murphy, aged 69 years, died Christmas day. He was one of the old land marks, having lived at the Lake from an early day, and witnessed much of the growth and development of the Kaw valley. The wife died some years ago, but the home has been kept intact by the daughters' assistance. Three sons, four daughters and a number of grandchildren remain. La grippe, followed by congestion of the lungs rapidly proved fatal, and thus another old citizen passed away.
