  Obituary- Brown, Ralph Ralph L. Brown ROSSVILLE -- Ralph L. Brown, 80, Rossville, died late Thursday, Jan. 29, 1987, at a Topeka hospital. Mr. Brown was retired from Hankamer Co. in Topeka where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was born Sept. 6, 1906, in Olivet, a son of Harry and Myrtle Brown. He lived here the past 30 years. Mr. Brown was a member of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 101 in Topeka. He was married to Jean Myers on Aug. 21, 1940, in Lyndon. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Janice Grooms, Chula Vista, Calif., and Mrs. Sandy Boyd, Fort Worth, Texas, two sons, Larry Brown, Topeka, and Randy Brown of the home, two sisters, Mrs. Lula Likes and Edna Brown, both of Emporia; a brother, Buford Brown, Hartford; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
