Rossville--Chanelle Heather “Chelly” Broxterman, 34, died Friday, July 17, 2009 at a Topeka Hospital.
She was born August 18, 1974, at Kansas City, the daughter of Larry E. and Pauline H. Comstock Brown. She grew up in the Bonner Springs and Edwardsville communities and graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1993.
On November 15, 1997 she was united in marriage to Bradley Broxterman at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Topeka. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Ashley, Emily and Clara Broxterman of the home; two sons, Michael Broxterman of the home and Matthew Taylor, Kansas City, MO; her parents, Larry and Pauline Brown, Edwardsville; two sisters, Tami A. Shaw, Kansas City, Melody A. Burkholder, Pittsburg; two brothers, Patrick L. Brown, North Kansas City, MO., and Anthony P. Brown, Lees Summit, MO; her in-laws Bob and Ann Broxterman, Silver Lake.
A Prayer Vigil and Rosary will be recited at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys followed by a memorial service. Inurnment will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Broxterman Children Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
