    Obituary- Stalker, John
    Dr. John W. Stalker was born in Livonia, Ind., July 7, 1867, and died at his home at Adrian, March 28, 1898, aged 30 years, 8 months and 21 days.

    He came with his parents to Jackson county more than 25 years ago, and spent some time in the west traveling for the benefit of his health, returning home January 1897, with little hope of recovery, and gradually grew worse till death came.

    He united with the St. Clete Baptist church eleven years ago .... laid to rest in the family cemetery ... April 7, 1898.
    Carl. April 4, 1898: W . F. Shaklee and family attended the funeral of Mrs. Shaklee's brother, John Stalker, of Cross Creek .
