    Mrs. Margaret Mary Burghart, 69, Topeka, died Thurs., Aug. 4, 1988 at her home. She was born Oct. 23, 1918, in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Gibler Hartman, and lived in Topeka all her Life. Mrs. Burghart was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was married to George John Burghart Feb. 3, 1936, at Topeka. He died Sept. 21, 1961.
    Survivors include seven daughters, Pat Taylor and Marilyn McLaughlin, both of Kansas City, Mo. Theresa Griffiths, Delia (Judy Hall's sister-in-law), Ginny Trygg, Linda Gilchrist and Chris Gassen, all of Topeka, and Rita Greene, San Antonio, Texas; three sons, John Burghart and Rick Burghart, both of Topeka, and George Burghart III, Valley Falls; two sisters, Eva Marlow, Derby, and Mildred Love, Forest Park, Ga.; 19 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 .m. Tues. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Burghart will like in state from 2 until 9 pm. Monday at Brennan Funeral Home, where rosaries will be recited by the Altar Society at 6 p.m. and the parish at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Let's Help, Inc., 302 SW Van Buren, 66603.
