    OSCAR LEROY BURTON
    Oscar LeRoy Burton, 48, Topeka, formerly of Rossville, died Wednesday, October 1, 1980, at a Topeka hospital.
    He was born April 13, 1932, at Bethan, Mo., the son of Sanford and Pauline Walker Burton.
    Mr. Burton was employed in the maintenance department of the Kansas Turnpike Authority.
    He was a veteran of the Korean War and member and past commander of Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion, Rossville. He also was a former adjutant of First District of the American Legion and was sergeant at arms in the First District.
    Survivors include two sons, Steven Burton and Ronal Burton, both of Topeka, his mother, Mrs. Pauline Burton, Bethany, Mo.; and a brother, Donald Burton, Bethany, Mo.
    Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo. Graveside services were conducted by Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 in Oakland Cemetery, north of Bethany, Mo.
