| Obituary- Parr, Effie Obituary.
Miss Effie Parr was born at Lena, Indiana, Aug. 28, 1881, and died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Parr, southwest of this city, Saturday morning, Nov. 21, 1903, after a short illness from an attack of peritonitis. At the age of four years she removed with her parents from her native town to near Auburn, Kansas. After a short stay at Auburn the family removed to the old homestead near this city. Here she had grown to womanhood and was loved and revered by all who knew her for her Christian character. Funeral services were held in the M.E. Church, this city, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Kuhn, and burial took place in the city cemetery. She leaves a fond father and mother, three sisters and five brothers to mourn her death. As for Effie all is well. |
