    Obituary- Huss, Marvin
    Marvin O. Huss Marvin O. Huss, 80, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at a Rossville care facility. He was born July 4, 1937 in Soldier, Kansas, the son of Donald and Lela (Stone) Huss.

    Marvin graduated from Soldier High School. He was a member of the Kansas National Guard for 6 years. Marvin was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 13 years, American Investors Life Insurance Company for 11 years and the City of Topeka for 11 years prior to retiring. He was a member of Town & Country Christian Church.

    Marvin married Betty Patch on August 26, 1959 in Holton, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Todd Huss of Topeka, Jeffrey Huss of Topeka, 4 grandchildren, Sam Huss, Joddie (Joseph) Milavec, Lindsey Huss and Caleb Huss, 1 great-granddaughter, Kayleigh and his siblings, Florence Morris of Berryton, Carroll Huss of Robinson, Kansas and Vera Marchisotto of Oakdale, New York.

    Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Marvin will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the funeral home.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 3625 SW 29th St., Ste. 102, Topeka, Kansas 66614 or to the Town & Country Christian Church, 4925 SW 29th St., Topeka, Kansas 66614.
