    CHARLES E. CLARK

    Charles Emmet Clark, 69, died Tuesday afternoon, June 6, 1933, at St. Francis hospital after an illness for ten days.

    He was born in Kentucky September 7, 1863, and came to Kansas in 1882. All the rest of his life he lived in Shawnee and Jackson counties, the last ten years near Kilmer. He married Etta Edwards at Rossville in 1891, who survives him.

    Other survivors are three sons, Charles Clark of Meriden, Burton Clark of Wilder, and Lester Clark, of Tecumseh; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Brubaker of Manhattan, Mrs. Ora Landis of Rossville, and Mrs. Zella Cole of Meriden; and fourteen grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held this afternoon from the Peebler funeral home at 2 o’clock. Burial was in Rochester cemetery.
