    Ervin C. Claycamp

    SOLDIER -- Ervin C. Claycamp, 53, Soldier, died Wednesday, 04-27-1983, at an Onaga hospital after an apparent heart attack.

    He was born March 10, 1930, at Goff, the son on Eldon and Evelyn Smith Claycamp. He spent his life in the Soldier and Goff communities.

    Mr. Claycamp owned and operated Claycamp Construction Co., at Soldier.

    He was married to Lurene Jones Nov. 21, 1948, at Bancroft. She survives.

    Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Sherry Heath, Soldier, Mrs. Patricia Epperley, Shawnee, Okla., and Mrs. Kathy Ashby, Delia; a son, Brad Claycamp, Soldier; his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Claycamp, Bancroft; two sisters, Mrs. Ephabelle Kranz, Denison, and Mrs. Ellen Davis, Kansas City; six brothers, Everett Claycamp and Emmett Claycamp both in Nebraska, Edwin Claycamp in Kentucky, Ernest Claycamp, Seneca, Edgar Claycamp, Wetmore, and Edward Claycamp, Rossville; and seven grandchildren.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial arrangements are pending. Contributions may be made to the Ervin Claycamp Memorial Fund yet to be designated by the relatives and sent in care of Denison State Bank, Holton, 66436.
