Sherry Ann Catron, 48, Topeka, died Friday, February 19, 1993, at a Topeka hospital.
Mrs. Catron was a secretary at Topeka State Hospital from 1978 until she retired in 1992, for health reasons.
She was born October 7, 1944, in Tama, Iowa, the daughter of Bernice L. Davenport Sanche.
Mrs. Catron was a member of a Presbyterian Church.
She was married to Benny Dean Catron July 12, 1985, in Miami, Okla. He survives. A son, Michael Alan Nocktonick, died May 26, 1984.
Other survivors include a daughter, Joelee Luscombe, Topeka; two stepdaughters, Brenda Nordyke, McCune, and Gayle Lambrecht, Topeka; six stepsons, Keith Catron, Rossville, Rod Catron and Mark Catron, both of Delia, Darold Catron, Mayetta, Roger Catron, Holton, and Vernie Catron, Silver Lake; a grandson; and 17 step-grandchildren.
Services were at 1 p.m. Monday in Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sherry's Girls on 6N, Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center, 1500 S.W. 10th, Topeka, 66604.
