| Obituary- Lane, Marinda Mrs. Marinda Lane
Mrs. Marinda Lane, aged 83 years 2 months and 13 days, died Sunday, May 30, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Delaney Osborn, near Willard, Kansas.
She was married to Peter Lane in 1860 and to this union, eight children were born, four sons and four daughters. These are, Mrs. Osborn, of Willard; Mrs. Wm. Taylor, Mayetta; Mrs. Emma Deakon and Mrs. Cora Lee, of Kansas City, Mo.; Frank Lane, Paxico; George Lane, St. Joseph, Mo.; John Lane, Willard, Richard Lane, Kansas City, Mo. She is also survived by forty grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at West Union church conducted by the Rev. G.C. Albin of Rossville. The pallbearers all were grandsons. The music was furnished by a mixed quartette from Willard. The body was taken to Maple Hill for burial.
