Mr. and Mrs. Cless were married Feb. 24, 1904, at the home of the bride’s parents north of Rossville with the Rev. Steward officiating. Mrs. Cless is the former Lida Shenk. They have one son, Floyd of Topeka. They were pleasantly surprised by a group of relatives and friends who gathered at their home Sunday and helped them observe their Golden Wedding anniversary. The table was covered with a lace cloth and decorated with a three-tier cake and candelabra. Mrs. Duane Parr cut the cake and Mrs. Leland Wagner was in charge of the guest book.
